 South Carolina District 4

South Carolina District 4 is part of the National Barrel Horse Association (NBHA) NBHA is an international group of equestrians who barrel race on a local, state, national and international level. Men, women, and children compete on an even playing field with special classes for youth up to 18 and seniors age 50 and up.

South Carolina District 4 encompasses the southeastern quarter of our state. There are over 60 members competing in at least eight district shows per year. Our district is proudly sponsored by local and national companies. We could not do all that we do without our sponsors' support.

Thank you to all of the businesses who
keep our sport rolling each year.

Please keep a watchful eye out for any friends or family members that may inadvertently park there . Parking is ample in all three trailer parking areas . Parking on the road impedes trailer access coming and going . *Any issues with the newly installed restroom notify staff IMMEDIATELY. * Jackpot starts at 7 . All entries for Nbha classes must be turned in by the third drag ( rider 15) to be in all the nbha draws : you may enter any class up until the first rider . You will be an add on . * The Expos and Jackpot class are not Nbha affiliated . Any governing decisions are at the direction of the arena hosts.* Note : You must ride in long pants and closed shoes ( preferably boots ) in Nbha classes . *If you are under the age of 18 you must have a parent or guardian present and they MUST sign your entry card . *All riders on horses must be participating in the show and liability waiver signed on entry cards . * All riders 10 and under on a horse must be accompanied with a parent or guardian at all times * No crossing directly in front of the alleyway on foot . Including trailer parking . *No playing tag ,throwing objects or running in or around the trailers OR arena area . PLEASE understand this is for everyone’s safety . *If you are leaving the grounds before the completion of the show PLEASE make sure your headlights are not directed at the arena!! Best to leave them off until you are headed in direction of exit gate . *If No Horse zones are marked or Horses only please stay within designated area . We have grown as a district in leaps and bounds . This means an increase of horse and people on show grounds . THE SAFETY OF YOU ,YOUR HORSES ,YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY ARE THE SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT ISSUE AT A SHOW . Thank you for your patience and understanding in theses safety measures .
